The Scout Section is called a Troop, for children aged 10 1/2 - 14 and is split into Patrols - Panthers, Stags and Foxes. Each Patrol has a Patrol Leader who present the Patrol for inspection each week and help with other parts of the evening. Scouts get more of a say in creating the programme and can put their ideas to their leaders.

They take part in regular camps - a weekend Freezer Camp in February, a 4 day camp in the New Forest over Easter and a week long camp during the summer.

After Scouts they move to Explorers until they are 18, or they can become Young Leaders and complete the Young Leaders' training programme (or they can do both!). This is run at a District Level throughout Caterham, to find out more click here.

Our Scouts meet on a Wednesday, 19:00 - 21:00.
